Project 1614

Residential Extensions

Extension and remodelling of a detached family home near Woking, Surrey.  The extension was actually very modest on the ground floor in particular but with some clever internal remodelling opened up some contrived existing rooms to create a large open-plan kitchen/dining space.

The addition of bi-fold doors also finally enables the family to make the most of the garden and in particular as it is east facing is a great place for breakfast on the terrace but just as easily lends itself to barbeques on those long summer evenings.

A great everyday living and entertaining space which really works for a busy family of five and the choice of a modern kitchen creates a sleek and stylish look.

Completed late 2016.

What the client said “…Heritage talked things through with us and gave us a design that really made the most of the space.  We went through 2 or 3 design stages tweaking different elements to get what we wanted.  This was our first building project so we we really appreciated Heritage guiding us through the planning process and sorting out all that side of things for us.   The project ran really smoothly and we only had one query along the way which Heritage responded to really quickly, liaising with the builder and the structural engineer to agree the way forward.”
