Just to let you know how thrilled my wife and I are with the end result of our project. As an ex property developer I am not easy to please, but what you have achieved is really superb. Although I had developed my ideas before coming to see you, you guided me towards a pitched roof which ties in the extension so well to the existing old house and in addition gives me a splendid new office. All our neighbours (without exception) have commented on how well the extension has fitted in and is in keeping with the area, and as for the interior it really has the Wow factor with the double height space to the new living area and so much light flooding in. Planning and Building Regs went smoothly and there was very little needed in terms of additional information to the contractor during the building period. The decking onto the terrace works very well, and your recommendation to overclad the back steps in York stone and fit new balustrading was just right - it looks great! Even our old garage has a new lease of life with its new door and tile cladding above to match in with the extension. You were also extremely reasonable with regard to your fees!
