It’s been fifteen years since Heritage Architecture was established, so a good time to reflect what the company has achieved so far and look to the future.
Heritage Architecture was formed in 2002 as a sole practitioner and today we have a team of five professionals (soon to be six) providing a range of Architectural, Planning and Building Regulation’s services to residents and businesses across Surrey.
Our client base has grown extensively over the last 15 years and we take on a range of projects from residential extensions, conversions and re-models as well as new-build houses and small commercial projects. Our clients cover an extensive area as shown in our client heatmap.
Spotlight on Horsell in Woking
A more detailed assessment of our client reach has identified Horsell as a particularly popular area where Heritage Architecture continues to be the architectural designers of choice particularly for residential clients. 95% of our projects are extensions/remodels, loft conversions or refurbishments of existing properties. Recently, Heritage Architecture has worked alongside Horsell Common Preservation Society in Horsell to re-develop the former mushroom farm into the Heather Farm Wetland Centre and now very popular Water’s Edge Café.
If you have visited The Cricketers Pub in Horsell Birch, you will have noticed the new dining barn/garden room located in the rear pub garden. This has been designed for The Cricketers customers for private function and can seat up to 50 guests. More improvements are also in the pipeline.

A detailed analysis of our client base within the Horsell area shows a high density of projects in South Road, Kettlewell Close, Horsell Park and Waldens Park Road. These areas typically require a sensitive design approach to produce designs that are sympathetic to neighbouring dwellings and the local vernacular, something we always try to achieve to maintain the character of the local area.
