The house, originally constructed in the 1960’s, in a typical Arts & Crafts style had already been extended in an inappropriate manner which was addressed as part of the remodelling process.
The extensions/remodelling will provide a large open-plan kitchen/dining/family space, separate sitting room, utility and study at ground floor level. At first floor level a total of five bedrooms are to be created including a master bedroom + en-suite.
