Remodelling and extension of a traditional-style detached house in Woking, Surrey.
This project involved the complete refurbishment, remodelling and extension of this property from the ground up with the addition of another storey and loft conversion as well as a single storey rear extension! The tired and dated interior of this house was completely transformed into a sympathetic mix of traditional arts & crafts exterior with a stylish and contemporary open-plan interior. The very high quality of finish is a testament to the owner’s quality led and detailed approach to the project.
Convoluted internal spaces were opened up to flow in a more logical fashion off the central feature stairwell as well as the creation of a large open plan kitchen/family/dining space as well as a sitting room, second reception room and study. Accommodation on the first floor was created toprovide 3 spacious bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. The loft has been converted to provide a further 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and services/storage areas.
